At a stone’s throw from Port Louis lies the
Domaine Les Pailles, a nature park spreading over 3000 acres
at the foot of the mountain range where visitors will be able
to discover some old ways of living in an enchanting environment.
Domaine Les Pailles offers a wide range of facilities: a gastronomic
restaurant, “Le Clos St Louis” a reception hall “La Cannelle
Rouge”, an Indian restaurant “Indra”, exclusive Chinese Cuisine
at “Fu Xiao”, a pizzeria, a swimming pool, mini-golf, as well
as the nicest casino in Mauritius. There are also possibilities
of diving in Land Rovers in the mountain where deer, monkeys
and rare birds live harmoniously or of riding in horse-drawn
carriages or in a train. In the garden is found a replica of
an ox-drawn sugar mill, an alambic to distill the domain’s own,

On horseback, ride through our magnificent Valley of the Guibies
and be one with nature. Picnic lunch in the forest specially
prepared for you. The stables of Domaine Les Pailles offer to
lovers of equestrian sports, rides in the Valleys or riding
lessons with our qualified instructors. This package also include
the visit of the domain.
